Denver Make a Difference Community Partner Grants

Strengthening nonprofits through technology and collective giving

The Make a Difference Community Partner Grants are led by Mytech Partners’ multi-year technology and managed services grant, providing nonprofit organizations with long-term IT support.

In addition, local for-profit partners may contribute complementary, non-technology grants or services, such as financial guidance, marketing support, training, or other professional expertise. Partner participation varies by year.

Out 2026 Recipient Is...

For over 30 years, Project MEND has established a rich history rooted deep in San Antonio. Founded in 1992, Project MEND, also known as the “Medical Equipment Network for those with Disabilities,” has been dedicated to providing essential home medical equipment and assistive technology to persons with disabilities throughout San Antonio and across Texas. Mytech Partners is proud to award our 2026 Make A Difference Grant to Project MEND in recognition of their commitment to serving the community.

About the Technology Grant

Nonprofits are encouraged to continue investing in the hardware, software, and platforms they need to operate and grow. Mytech Partners donates the services, consulting, and expertise required to support that technology.

On average, for every $1 spent on technology, organizations need an additional $3–$4 in services to properly implement, manage, secure, and optimize it. Through this grant, Mytech Partners covers that services portion over a three-year period, helping reduce risk and create long-term stability.

What the Technology Grant Includes

Selected nonprofits receive up to three years of donated IT services, including:

We Give Back

We believe the most meaningful way to give back is by sharing what we’re good at.

For Mytech Partners, that means donating long-term technology expertise and support to help nonprofit organizations operate more effectively and focus on their mission.

These grants may support areas such as:

This diverse, community-rooted perspective helps ensure each grant is awarded thoughtfully and in alignment with local needs.

What does the Technology Grant include?

The grant provides donated managed and professional IT services over a three-year period. This includes ongoing support, strategic guidance, and security-first management.

The grant does not include the cost of hardware, software, or licensing, which remain the responsibility of the nonprofit.

Does the grant provide cash?

No. The Technology Grant provides services, not cash. The value of the grant reflects the donated IT services and expertise provided over the three-year term.

How long is the grant term?

The Technology Grant is awarded for up to three years, reflecting the length of a typical managed IT partnership and allowing for long-term stability and planning.

When will grant recipients be announced?

Grant recipients are announced at the awards and community celebration event. All applicants are invited to attend as we celebrate the nonprofit community and formally recognize the grant recipients.

Can we apply if we already work with another IT provider?

Yes. Organizations may apply even if they currently work with another IT provider. Transition details, if applicable, are reviewed as part of the selection process.

Can we apply for more than one grant?

Yes. When available, nonprofits may apply for both the Mytech Partners Technology Grant and any additional partner-sponsored grants during the same application cycle.

Are there any costs associated with accepting the grant?

While the IT services are donated, nonprofits remain responsible for the cost of their technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and licensing.

What if we are not selected?

Nonprofits that are not selected are encouraged to apply again in future grant cycles. All applicants are invited to attend the awards and community celebration.

Who should apply?

Nonprofits that view technology as a critical part of their operations and are looking for long-term support to strengthen systems, reduce risk, and focus more fully on their mission.
