Field and Project Engineer

Mytech Partners is seeking to fill a full time position for a field/project engineer. The position's primary duties will be to work closely with a project manager to plan and execute infrastructure projects, including new networks, upgrades, migrations, and firewall/internet implementations.   In addition, this engineer will work with our engineering team to support numerous existing client networks all the way from data center to desktop.  This engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining numerous technologies, including Windows OSs, IBM and HP servers/SANs, HP and Mac desktops, Kaseya management agents, SonicWall firewalls, Citrix servers, VMware hosts, Cisco routers, and numerous smart phones.  The ability to rapidly learn and embrace the latest technology is critical to the success of this individual, as we are constantly implementing new technology for our clients.

This position requires daily customer interaction and detailed documentation at client sites throughout the Twin Cities/Metro area.  We desire an individual who can create and execute step-by-step processes, train other engineers, compose detailed project plans, present an organized and professional image to our customers, and who can manage multiple tasks and competing priorities, all with little to no supervision.

Remote Network Administrator/Support

Mytech Partners is seeking to fill a full time position for a high level help desk/remote administration engineer.  The job description will include troubleshooting Windows servers for small and medium size business customers, as well as extensive support of client desktop computers and small office networks including hardware, software and VPN connectivity.  The position requires daily customer interaction and documentation for many clients.  This person will be completing work from the most basic level, changing passwords, to higher level tasks, such as troubleshooting exchange, firewall and active directory replication issues.

We desire an individual with experience working in a help desk environment as well as those with network administration experience.  We welcome experience with Virtualization technologies, remote management tools and MAC support.  This person must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time.  Candidate needs to possess networking experience and excellent analytical skills.  The ability to communicate with customers and interact with users who have little computer knowledge and maintaining a professional attitude and appearance are required at all times.
